A Kingfisher in Narnia
In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, author C.S. Lewis writes that the "Beavers and the children were walking on hour after hour into what seemed a delicious dream." The snow was melting in Narnia; Spring was arriving. In the first paragraph of chapter 12, the children had seen so many signs of Spring that they stopped saying, "Look! there's a kingfisher..." Quite a beautiful bird, isn't it?
